Social media platform TikTok plans to shut down its music streaming service in November due to royalty disputes with publishers. New controller accessories to release for the PlayStation 5. Spotify Premium users can now use the platform's latest feature, AI-generated playlists.

TikTok will be shutting down its music streaming service just a year after its launch. TikTok’s parent company Byte Dance says it will be shutting down in November. The service allowed TikTok users to download music heard in videos. Byte Dance has been in royalty disputes with music publishers.

Sony is launching a new line of accessories for the PlayStation 5. The new Chroma collection features new colors including pearl teal and indigo with matching controllers. Preorders for the collection start next week.

Spotify launched its new AI playlist feature for premium users. The feature allows users to create custom playlists using text prompts personalized to the user’s listening habits. The roll out is gradual and may not be available to all premium users.
