What’s Brewing: Flavors of fall in Canal Park

Canal Park Brewing is welcoming the new fall season with some news brews and special events.

Fall is taking its time, but it is brewing in Canal Park.

Canal Park Brewing Head Brewer Mitchell Alexander said they hope to have an Oktoberfest on tap next Friday. They’ll also release an Ankle Deep Pilsner.

“Really refreshing, good hop profile as well,” Alexander described. “Easy drinking all day long.”

CPB is also putting a twist on the kettle sour by adding boysenberries.

“We put about 425 pounds of organic boysenberry into it, and so basically it tastes like boysenberry juice with a little bit of alcohol in it,” Alexander said.

The business just added propane heaters outside to extend the patio season along the Lakewalk. They’re also partnering with the Friends of the Lakewalk to clean up trash from 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 21. Volunteers get a discount on a pint afterward.
