Police release details on fatal Wisconsin motorcycle crash

Authorities have announced today the death of a motorcyclist involved in an accident on Friday, September 27.
Brad G. Burdette, 56, of East Troy, WI, was riding his Harley-Davidson on Phipps Road in Lenroot, WI in Sawyer County, when authorities say his bike exited the road and entered the ditch along the side of the road.
According to the accident report, Burdette was ejected from the motorcycle, sustaining fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Responding agencies include the Sawyer County Sherriff’s Office, Sawyer County EMS, the City and Town of Hayward Fire Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office says the accident is still under investigation at this time.
