A new women’s boutique has opened in Superior and they say they are bringing a new taste of fashion to the town.

Tiny Riot Boutique is now open in the Historic Cannery Building on 10 N 21st Street in Superior. For years the brand had been a pop up, appearing at different events and creating a huge following.

Owner Sarah Mayne says the idea for the store started when she was looking to replace her wardrobe but wasn’t able to find the styles she locally. “I was looking to replace my wardrobe and I wasn’t able to find the styles that I liked locally. So I started to source all over for different styles that I liked and received a lot of compliments and I said ‘you know what I bet other people would like these too.'”

From her pop ups she realized that there was a need for diverse fashion in the community.

“I really think that Superior is starting to be that kind of trendy edgy fashion place where you can have that shopping experience,” says Sarah, “In the pandemic we kind of lost that. We lost what it feels like to be able to go and have a shopping experience to experience that joy of putting something on that makes you feel good about yourself and we’re bringing that back here in Superior and we’re excited about that.”
