Baxter has been at the shelter since June 20, 2024, and he is a shy and nervous gentleman who needs a calm and quiet environment to help him fully decompress. Once he feels comfortable and gains trust, Baxter enjoys head scratches and loves to chat with his favorite humans. He would likely thrive as the only pet in the household, as other animals and young children tend to make him anxious.

Baxter loves spending time looking out windows and soaking up the sunshine, making a peaceful, sun-filled home his ideal match. His perfect family would be patient, understanding, and knowledgeable about cat behavior.

You can place a nonrefundable $25 hold toward his adoption fee to secure your spot as first in line! The adoption team is available by phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Adoption is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
