Parade held on final day of Bayfield Apple Festival

Final Day of Bayfield Apple Festival

The 62nd Annual Bayfield Apple Festival comes to an end.

A community parade was held on the final day of the 62nd Annual Bayfield Apple Festival in Wisconsin.

Large crowds got out to have fun and enjoy the yearly tradition that draws in approximately 50,000 people each year.

“We come up to Brule River every year and stop at Applefest every year,” said Britta Carlson of Marquette, Michigan. “[We] must stop along the way. It’s great!”

For Firestar Charette of Red Cliff, Wisconsin, the festival was a chance to catch up with old friends, including those for High School she hasn’t seen in years.

Clean up for this year’s festival will be held Monday, October 7:00 to 11:00 am at 2 E Front St.
