School canceled Monday for South Ridge after bomb threat

St. Louis County Schools confirmed that they received an anonymous message Monday morning about bombing the South Ridge School. The message came in over the weekend.

Superintendent Reggie Engebritson said they notified law enforcement immediately, and closed the school so they can be sure the building is safe for students and staff.

The school sent students back on the bus, and any students not being able to be dropped off at home will be picked up at the Alborn Community Center, per a post on South Ridge’s Facebook page.
