On the first day of the Section 7A girls soccer tournament, Duluth Marshall shut out Proctor 4-0 while Esko blanked Two Harbors 6-0.

Duluth Marshall was off and running early into the contest, as they put up two goals within the first moments of the game.

Hilltoppers scorers included Aubrey Johnson, Giulia McGiffert, and two from Nina Thorson.

The Hilltoppers move on to face Lakes International Language Academy on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

For Esko, they put up three goals in each half to push past the Agates, as the number one seed looked unbothered by the Agates defense.

Esko moves on to take on either Spectrum or Legacy Christian Academy on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
