Lake Country Power outage resolved
Lake County Power said they have resolved a service outage that impacted more than 8,500 of their customers in Northern Minnesota on Tuesday morning, October 8. The outage was caused by an issue transmission equipment that serves seven Lake Country Power Stations.
According to a representative from Lake Country Power, the outages lasted from 10:07 a.m. to 10:47 a.m.
“Lake Country Power line crews patrolled Great River Energy’s transmission lines and found an issue between the Cook and Potlatch Substations – a broken insulator on the transmission line south of Cook,” explained Public Relations Coordinator Tami Zaun. “Crews were able to isolate the problem and re-energize.”
