The Minnesota Ballet is gearing up for their annual Celebrity Dance Challenge show, it’s their biggest fundraiser of the year. It’s taking place at the Depot Theatre on October 11th.

The show pairs around local celebrities together with ballet dancers as they create an choreograph a dance number to be performed on the stange.

The Minnesota Ballet’s Artistic Director, Karl von Rabenau says, “We’ve got a great crew of folks. The fun thing about this is that folks come in, some of them have been wanting to do this and some are like ‘oh I’m not so sure.’ And they all walk away just having a wonderful time dancing with the dancers and finding out ‘hey I still got some moves.'”

WDIO’s very own Kenny Johnson will be a celebrity guest judge for this year’s show. Contestants should bring their A game… he can be quite the critical judge.
