Third ranked UMD women’s hockey knocked off #1 Ohio State weeks ago, but couldn’t continue the streak of beating top ranked teams, as they fell to #1 Wisconsin on Saturday, 5-1.
The lone Bulldog goal came from Grace Sadura in the second period, but the Bulldogs were already down two goals prior.
Despite cutting the lead in half, the Bulldogs would allow three more goals.
UMD and Wisconsin are back at it on Sunday at 2 p.m.
