The debate covering topics from prescription drugs to immigration, childcare, and reproductive rights.
The two taking the time to address voters directly.
“Look I entered into this race because I love my country. I love America. We’ve been blessed to live in this wonderful country,” said challenger Eric Hovde. “But our country has gone in a wrong direction. You can stay with Senator Baldwin who’s been in Washington for 26 years. Do you think you’re better off than you were four years ago or even 26 years ago.”
“I fight for Wisconsin and only for Wisconsin and that is something that I take great pride in,” said Sen. Baldwin “But Eric Hovde just said something about lying. Independent fact checkers have fact checked him 19 times with 19 false results. So, keep that in mind when you listen to him.”
