Friday night, in a border battle between the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) and the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) on the volleyball courts, the Yellowjackets looked to exact revenge after suffering a loss the last time they faced the Saints.

In Set 1, the Saints trail 3-2, but switch from defense to offense on a dime, with Grace Myhre who passed it up to Mikala Peterson who put it away to tie things at 3. The Yellowjackets make quick work with a pass from Gabi Schwartz to Addy Gangl who dropped it in for another point. They are back with another one-two punch, this time the pass is from Colleen Claude to Sydney Smith who put it away.

UW-Superior takes the win 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-21) over the Saints. UWS was led by Maiana Stark with 11 kills, and Jenna Anderson with 20 digs. CSS was led by Lindsey Baribeau with 10 kills, and Bryn Ziegler with seven digs.

The Yellowjackets next face UMAC opponent Northland on Tuesday, October 22nd in Ashland at 7PM.

The Saints will next head to Ashland to play in the Northland Tri-meet on Saturday October 19th, they begin with Lawrence University at 12PM, and will face Northland at 2PM.
