Enjoying MEA Weekend along the North Shore

With some extra time off for MEA weekend, kids of all ages found themselves in Two Harbors for some fall-time fun.

“We’re getting pies. Gonna go check out the lake. Maybe go to Tom’s Logging Camp, pick out some cool…cool toys,” said Leith, who was with little Milo.

“I loved going down to the beach. I mean the lighthouse was beautiful, but the beach area there, definitely super pretty,” said Jacey Sleen.

And after a long day of exploring everything the North Shore has to offer, Betty’s Pies was the hub for a sweet treat.

“And pie is really good too, so I had the cherry pie and I think you had the raspberry peach. You liked it, it was good,” Sleen said to family friend Heather Grillo.

And even though the weekend has begun its close, there is still time to spend with loved ones.

“We’ll probably watch another National Treasure or Lord of the Rings,” said Sleen.
