Funds raised at Ghoulwill Bash

True North Goodwill hosted a Ghoulwill Halloween Bash fundraiser Thursday, October 24. All the funds raised will go directly into the supporting True North’s mission; programming for people that are looking for work.

“Thank you to all our generous sponsors, community partners, and donors for their support to make this event a success. With your support our mission will continue to grow and help more individuals in our community achieve their highest potential” said Director of Communications & Marketing Scott Vezina.

Vezina also highlighted changes for the organization in the past year and what they hope to accomplish going forward.

“Over this past year, our organization has continued to make amazing strides. From opening new retail locations and career navigation centers to merging with Duluth based workforce development non-profit SOAR Career Solutions, we have the opportunity now more than ever to fulfill our vision: that all people have the opportunity to obtain meaningful employment, strengthening communities and transforming lives for generations,” Vezina stated in the events program. “We have also begun the planning for our new Resource and Training Center, scheduled for completion in 2026, which will allow us the opportunity to offer mission services to thousands of people annually.”

According to Vezina, True North serves over 600 people a year in Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin through their mission programs and career services.
