Wisconsin cross country runners were absolutely electric on Saturday, especially those from Solon Springs/Northwood.
Solon Springs/Northwood took care of business for their second consecutive WIAA Division 3 cross country sectional title.
Isaac Dickenson won his second consecutive sectional individual title with a time of 16:00, while and Penelope Burfield beat her personal record by 1 minute and 13 seconds to finish 5th overall and qualify for the state meet.
Burfield becomes the first Solon Springs runner to qualify for state since Connie Hankins in 1994.
SS/N will compete at the state meet in Wisconsin Rapids next Saturday.
