Starting the week off with dry weather, but the Northland will be seeing a series of showers soon enough.

Today will be quiet with widespread mostly sunny conditions. Throughout the afternoon more clouds will be passing overhead. Winds will come in from the southeast and temperature will climb into the mid-60s with warm air advection continuing into tonight.

Most of the rain is slated to fall Tuesday night into Wednesday afternoon, and Isolate strong to severe storms are possible up the Iron Range. The key risks being damaging winds, heavy rain, and large hail up to 1” in diameter. Approximately an inch of rain is expected to pass across northwestern Wisconsin.

Cooler air moves in across the Northland Wednesday night with chance for snow in northern portions of Minnesota by Thursday morning as mixed precipitation continues. A few on and off showers are expected to linger into the weekend, but temperatures will remain in the fifties for the start of November.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1pm and 4pm, then a chance of showers after 4pm. High near 56. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

A chance of showers, mainly before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
