Former District 6B House Representative Jason Metsa sentenced in regard to July 4th offense
Former District 6B House Representative Jason Metsa was sentenced to one year of unsupervised monitoring without conviction on October 7th.
Metsa was initially arrested on July 6th, 2024, for probable cause of criminal sexual conduct in the 3rd degree, was released on July 9th, and charged with a gross misdemeanor of providing alcohol to a minor on September 11th.

Metsa plead guilty to the gross misdemeanor charge and was sentenced to one year of unsupervised monitoring without conviction by the St. Louis County Sixth Judicial District Court on October 8th. The condition of the sentencing requires the offender must not commit the same or similar offense, must remain law abiding, and must pay a fine of $900 by November 6th, 2024.
Successful completion of probation will result in a dismissal of the charge.
