Trick or treating at Duluth City Hall-oween
Duluth City Hall hosted their annual “City Hall-oween” Wednesday afternoon, October 30. Certain halls and offices were decorated and set up for kids to go trick or treating.
The Mayor’s office was given an underwater theme to reflect his service in the Navy.
Kelli Latuska, the public information officer for the city, said events like this are a good way to get kids used to their local government.
“Hopefully, [it helps] bring people in at a young age and make them feel like they’re comfortable here and they’re allowed to be here and that this is their space because it is,” explained Latuska.
More Halloween events can be found on WDIO’s Community Calendar.
