Lea Zmurko: A foggy start to the Monday blues
Waking up to dense fog across the Northland with advisories in place until mid-morning, a few light showers may also pass as rain continues to move northeast across the region. Many areas are starting the morning at less than a ¼ mile of visibility as commuters trek up the hill here in the Twin Ports. Conditions will slowly start to clear as the sun rises and rain showers progress up the Arrowhead. With calm winds tonight, the fog is expected to return tomorrow morning as well.
It will be moderate rainfall for northwest Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota today, but more rain is slated to pass tomorrow with the precipitation bands sticking to the I-35 corridor and moving into NW Wisconsin.
After those rounds or showers, the rest of the week will remain dry with some rain chances for the overnight hours this weekend.
