Justin Liles: Skies clear tonight & some might want to bring umbrella to polls Tuesday

November 4th: Showers for some likely

Showers for some likely

We started off the work week with some rain showers as a cold front moved through the northland. Dense fog has been associated with this rain too. Skies will clear out tonight at temperatures drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the region. There is enough residual moisture hanging around the shoreline of Lake Superior that we will likely see some more am fog.

Another fast-moving system will bring another quick round of rain showers to the area. This round will mostly remain in northwest Wisconsin, but rain will also be expected across the far eastern portions of Minnesota as well. Wisconsin is forecasted to get another three quarters of an inch and Minnesota another half inch or less. So if you live in these areas you may want to bring some rain gear to the polls.

Drier conditions move in for the remainder of the week. In unfortunate news, it doesn’t look like we’ll see any snow for the Minnesota deer opener.
