Justin Liles: Rain continues into the evening hours

November 5th: Drier through the weekend

Drier through the weekend

A surface low in Iowa is moving farther north and getting stronger as it moves north. Not only will we some parts of the Northland see rain tonight, but we will also see the winds increasing tonight too. Most of the rain tonight will stay near the head of the lake and south through northwestern Wisconsin and east central Minnesota.

As the low departs to the northeast, the south shore will see some lake induced rain showers. If you live in a community near the big lake, you may see some fog overnight. The rest of the week will see drier conditions settle in as we get closer to the Minnesota deer opener.

Temperatures will stay rather consistent through the week and into the weekend. We will likely see a better chance for rain to return Saturday night into Sunday.
