Meet Susie, a 2-year-old sweetheart who’s been waiting for a loving home since August 21st. Susie is a wiggly, affectionate lady who may seem a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you! With some treats and gentle pets, she warms up quickly and is soon ready for snuggles and affection. She’s discovering her love for toys—tennis balls and squeaky plush ones are her favorites so far!

Susie’s ideal home would be patient and committed to helping her with training and overcoming her separation anxiety. Coming from a large hoarding situation, she’s still learning manners but is highly motivated by food and praise, making her a quick learner! She can be a bit jumpy, so she’d thrive best in a home with older kids and other dogs who can help her feel secure.
