Lea Zmurko: The sun will shine, but still breezy regionwide

November 12: Sunshine is spreading

Temperatures will reach the mid-40s and sunshine will be abundant across the region as winds continue from the southeast.

Winds will pick back up today with a consistent breeze across the Northland. However, directions are switching to a southerly flow. Gusts will be continuing at 20-30 mph sustained wind speeds. Temperatures today will reach the mid-40s with widespread sunshine and clear skies.

Tuesday will remain dry, but the next round of precipitation will develop on Wednesday we will be expecting less then a quarter inch of rain region wide. Most of the rain will fall throughout central Minnesota. There is a slight chance of some mixed precipitation as it transitions into light snow in north-central regions, but there is not enough cold air behind the system for any measurable accumulation.

Temperatures will continue to bounce between the mid-40s through the upcoming weekend which is about 10 degrees above normal for this time of the year.
