It was announced Wednesday that Duluth East’s Bonnie Fuller-Kask has been inducted in the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association’s Nordic Ski Hall of Fame.

She has been head coach of the Greyhounds’ Nordic ski program for 23 years. Five years prior to that she served as both a volunteer and assistant coach for Duluth East, starting in 1997.

In her time as head coach, Duluth East has had eight state championship teams, and one individual state champion.

Fuller-Kask’s philosophy is “all are welcome” and “everyone plays”.

Per Duluth East:

  • Bonnie has been the Minnesota State High School Nordic Ski Coaches Assistant Coach of the Year and twice Coach of the Year, 2006-2007, 2022-2023.
  • She is a member of the Mora Vasaloppet Hall of Fame.
  • She has been a Midwest Team Coach at the Junior Nationals in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.
