The Asian Pacific American Association at UMD is getting excited for their cultural show coming up on Saturday. The theme is Asian Nightlife Under the Stars, and will feature a fashion show, food from local Asian restaurants, a skit, and more.

Last year they had about 300 people attend, and would like even more to show up this year.

Lilly Latterell is a board member of the association, and told us they are so excited about the event. “I just really enjoy sharing my culture. And I want everybody else to experience different cultures too.”

She recalls attending when she was a teenager, when their now advisor Azrin Awal was a board member.

Tickets are available at the door. $12 for students, and $15 for non students and faculty.

Saturday at the Kirby Ballroom, doors open at 4:30pm.
