The Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra has a handful of concerts left in its the third and final season of its project featuring underrepresented voices.
The 2024-25 season focuses on American music.
“We started the first year with music by Black composers. The next year, we focused on music composed by female composers. This year, it’s sort of a mix,” DSSO Music Director Dirk Meyer said. “It’s a focus on living composers, especially American living composers.”
The DSSO will perform Bruckner’s Te Deum at 7 p.m. Saturday at the DECC’s Symphony Hall. They also have an upcoming holiday concert on Dec. 7.
