CSS women's hockey falls in overtime against St. Benedict

The College of St. Scholastica women’s hockey team looked to net their first season win against the College of St. Benedict Friday afternoon in Duluth.

The Bennies struck first in the first period, courtesy of Shauna Miller who was assisted by Camryn Hargreaves. Late in the third period, the Saints would force the game into overtime with a goal from Hanley Block – assisted by Hannah Martin and Lyndi Schubert. St. Benedict however would take the overtime win 2-1 after a goal from Mia Lopez.

Saints’ goalie Makenzie Cole made 45 total saves.
