UMD football takes down Mankato in season finale
The UMD football team ended their season on a high note, taking down Minnesota State-Mankato 30-16 on Saturday for Senior Day.
The Bulldogs fought their way into the game offensively, thanks in part to a balanced offensive attack.
Kyle Walljasper threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 77 yards on the ground to contribute to the 200 total that UMD had. Derrick Johnson was the lone rushing touchdown for the Bulldogs.
After falling to 3-4, UMD finishes the season with a 7-4 record, winning their last four.
