Seniors can pick up free food boxes at Lundgren’s

AEOA and Lundgren Motors have teamed up for a food distribution event in Eveleth this week and next.

Lundgren Motors in Eveleth is proud to be partnering with AEOA Senior Nutrition for a food distribution this week for anyone 60 and older.

It’s the first distribution event for seniors outside of the AEOA building.

The agency ordered 800 boxes of shelf stable food. Each one has enough for 10 meals.

Senior can pick up their food at Lundgren’s from 8am-5pm through Friday this week, and then Monday-Wednesday next week, right before Thanksgiving.

“There were people lined up before we even opened,” shared Alison Stanaway, marketing specialist for Lundgren’s.

Plus there is a Diner’s Club program through AEOA, where seniors can get a meal for $4.50.
