UMD women's basketball fails to protect home court against UW-Parkside
A strong second half for UW-Parkside pushed the Rangers past UMD women’s basketball on Monday to the tune of a 79-69 loss for the Bulldogs.
Three Bulldogs scored in double figures, as Myra Moorjani scored a team high 15, followed by Lexi Karge’s 13 and Claire Bjorge’s 12. One of the more shocking statistics of the night was UMD’s free throw attempts, as the Bulldogs as a team only shot eight total while Parkside shot 15.
The Bulldogs take on Northern Michigan on Saturday, with tip-off set for noon.
