UMD men’s hockey Captain Dominic James and goaltender Adam Gajan received NCHC awards, James for NCHC Forward of the Week and Gajan for Goaltender of the Week.

James led the conference with five points on a goal and four assists, including three primary assists over the weekend. James currently ranks fourth in the NCHC with 15 points and third in the league in goals with seven.

As for Gajan, he nabbed his first league honor after the first shutout of his collegiate career on Friday night. Gajan tallied 39 total saves last weekend, and looks for more this weekend against Western Michigan.
