Search for an 82-year-old Sturgeon Lake man
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 82-year-old man. Authorities say Harvey Ernest Pearson was last heard from on Thursday, November 7. According to the sheriff’s report, Harvey left a residence at 29524 Denham Crossing Road in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota in the morning on Wednesday, November 6. He reportedly said he was going to Texas because it was warm there.
The next day, Harvey called his son and left a voice mail saying he was in Corpus Christi, Texas. Family says Harvey is very active on social media and has not made a post since that Thursday and no family members have bee able to get a hold of him. Police say both of his phones are now off.
The reporting party told authorities that Harvey is vulnerable and has been having recent memory issues, forgetfulness, and mood changes. This is very unusual for Harvey, as he is very connected with his phone, friends, and family.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension describes Harvey Pearson as a 6’2″ tall, 235 pound, white man. He has gray hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what color clothes he was wearing when he left Sturgeon Lake. His vehicle is a 2005 silver Chevrolet Silverado with license plate CGL491.
