Starting their season off on a hot streak, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s basketball team is looking to continue the fire as they host the inaugural St. Louis County Classic.

The Bulldogs will battle both Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan during the St. Louis County Classic, bringing two new challenges to their plates.

“The next three games we have here before Thanksgiving, two of them are ranked and Michigan Tech is a really good team as well. So, our competition level is going to go up, but I like where we are. We’ve got some guys that can really compete at this level and we’re looking forward to hosting this class this weekend. it’s great, but we know there’s some big games coming obviously throughout the year and we just try to get better every day, try to really emphasize the next opponent,” said men’s basketball head coach Justin Wieck.

The Bulldogs are currently sitting at 3-0 for the season, they will face Michigan Tech on Friday, November 22nd at 6PM.
