UMD men's hockey can't keep up with #9 Western Michigan despite two Plante goals
Friday night was one to forget for UMD men’s hockey, as they fell to #9 Western Michigan 5-2.
Down 1-0, Zam Plante found the back of the net thanks to an assist from his brother, Max, in what were the first points for Max since he sustained an upper body injury following the Bulldogs October 5th game against Bemidji State.
The Bulldogs found themselves down 4-1 before Zam Plante scored again, his third goal of the year and second of the game.
The Bulldogs and Broncos drop the puck on Saturday at 5:07 p.m., with the Bulldogs set to honor the life of former UMD Bulldog Adam Johnson before and during the game.
