McDonald’s announces McValue menu, set to launch in January

McDonald’s has announced a new value platform, McValue, which will be available in restaurants nationwide starting on January 7.

Fan favorites like the $5 Meal Deal, exclusive in-app offers, and local food and drink deals will be included in the new value platform alongside a brand new “Buy One, Add One for $1” offer on popular breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. In a press release on Friday, the fast food chain said it wants to give customers “even more ways to enjoy the food they love, for less.”

“When it comes to value, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all. We’ve worked closely with our franchisees to create a new platform that will let our customers define value on their own terms,” said Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA. “From deals on their personal go-to order to universal favorites like the $5 Meal Deal, we’re excited to give fans more ways to save every time they visit one of our restaurants.”

The “Buy One, Add One for $1” offer will provide customers with the ability to customize their own deals. You can buy one full-priced menu item from the McValue and add one more item of your choice for $1. This deal is valid for an item of equal or lesser value.

McValue Breakfast Buy One, Add One for $1 menu items include:

  • Sausage McMuffin®
  • Sausage Biscuit
  • Sausage Burrito
  • Hash Browns

McValue Lunch/Dinner Buy One, Add One for $1 menu items include:

  • 6-pc. Chicken McNuggets
  • Double Cheeseburger
  • McChicken®
  • Small Fries

In addition to the new “Buy One, Add One for $1” deal, the $5 Meal Deal has officially been extended through next summer and will be part of the McValue platform. The $5 Meal Deal is your choice of a McDouble®or McChicken® sandwich, small fries, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets®, and a small soft drink for $5. McDouble meal options may be priced at $6 at select pricing.

“As local small business owners, my fellow franchisees and I are always listening to what our customers want from their neighborhood McDonald’s,” said Cory Watson, McDonald’s Owner/Operator and National Value Chair for 2025. “No matter the city or the state, they’re telling us how important it is for them to find their favorite meals at affordable prices. And we couldn’t agree more.”

Local deals and offers will vary since McDonald’s franchisees set their own pricing.
