Justin Liles: More south shore snow & bitter Northland wind chills coming

November 30th: Bitter cold and more south shore snow

Bitter cold and more south shore snow

The Northland is still under the influence of a large low spinning in James Bay in northern Ontario. Heavy snowfall has gripped parts of the south shore. Bessemer, MI will likely end up with a close to two feet of snowfall if not more through Sunday

Overnight lows across the Northland are expected to drop into the single digits. Wind chill values will be in the -10°F to -20°F range early Saturday morning.

Northwest winds will become weaker by Sunday, but the trajectory of the cold air and the warmer water of Lake Superior should continue to generate snow along the south shore through the weekend and into the beginning of next week. Another round of snow moves in for the entire region by next Tuesday.
