The Hmong community in the Twin Ports region is excited to welcome you to the New Year celebration on Saturday at the Coppertop church.

Friday they were busy cooking almost 1000 eggrolls and so much rice. College students were decorating the main area.

In the Hmong culture, the new year is celebrated at the end of the traditional harvest season.

The event starts around 11am, with the free lunch after. All are welcome.
