Snowfall reports from Sunday and Monday

A low-pressure system entered the Northland on Sunday, bringing a variety of precipitation types. The rain/snow line stayed fairly stagnant during the day, mostly stretching from Grand Rapids to Duluth to Drummond and continued through the night.

Areas south received mostly rain while areas in northern Minnesota had mostly snow. Locations near the rain/snow line also had sleet and mixed precipitation.

The precipitation type changed to snow throughout the region at around 9 pm Sunday. There is a chance of a wintry mix on Monday afternoon, especially for areas in northern Wisconsin. Snow will be the main precipitation type on Monday with light, periodic snow showers expected during the day and into the early evening.

With mixed precipitation and heavy snow, road conditions will likely continue to be slick on Monday.
