The whacky world of Boubville hosts its last night of lights
You’ve probably heard of Bentleyville, but have you heard of Boubville? The community came out for three nights of lights from Thursday December 12th to Saturday December 14th.
Boubville is a backyard art and music show in Central Hillside featuring a trail of outdoor light art installations for folks who are looking for something a little more alternative for Christmas.
“There’s a lot of people who feel a little bit like the traditional holiday parties, the traditional lights and things are not quite for them,” said Annmarie Geniusz. “You have a lot of people who like things like Festivus and Krampus and just these kind of goofy, fun, punk, social things. And they kind of wanted to have a party just for that.”
It’s all wrapped up for the year now, but there’s always next year to check out the lights.
“We’ve had a really good turnout all three nights, even the really, really cold night, which was our kids’ night,” said Geniusz “We had a really good show.”
