Snow, cold, and holiday travel

This is going to be the week of weak clipper systems. Light snow will continue tonight. Winds will still be blustery, but temperatures will remain on the milder side. There will be a few chances of light snow this week. Thursday will have more significant snowfall, with 4-6 inches across central Minnesota and Wisconsin and lesser amounts elsewhere. Currently, snowfall totals and location are not definite. Another quick round of snow is possible this weekend. Gusty winds will tag along with each round of snowfall. Temperatures will also drop by the middle to end of the week but does look to rebound on Monday.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Breezy, with a northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
TUESDAY
Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 21. Blustery, with a northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
WEDNESDAY
Partly sunny, with a high near 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
THURSDAY
Snow. High near 20. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
FRIDAY
Mostly sunny, with a high near 12. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
SATURDAY
Mostly sunny, with a high near 13. North wind around 5 mph.
SUNDAY
Partly sunny, with a high near 19. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
