Harrison Community Center hosted its annual Senior Day Christmas party on Monday, December 16. The party included meals for area seniors, bingo, and live music.

“This is the only place in the city of Duluth that seniors can come and have congregate dining,” explained coordinator Joe Perfetti. “We provide lots of activity here for them. It’s a sense of community. For a lot of these folks, this is probably the only meal they eat with other people. More importantly, it’s a good quality meal that they’re eating.”

Perfetti said they’ve been holding these parties for around 25 years, but that this was the biggest one yet.
