Duluth Police Department introduces new crime map
The Duluth Police Department has introduced a new online crime map dashboard as part of efforts to build trust and transparency with the community. The map features incidents for all offense recorded as part of the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS), with the exception of Human Trafficking Offenses, Sex Offenses, and Nonviolent Family Offenses.
“Making this data accessible via this interactive crime map has been a priority of the Duluth Police Department as it’s an additional tool for residents and visitors of Duluth to view crime data that has been reported within our community,” said Chief Mike Ceynowa.
The map goes back three years and will be updated every week. The map will also be refreshed quarterly to update case offenses.
The crime map dashboard is currently available to view here.
