Pet of the Week: Buxton

Pet of the Week: Buxton

Buxton is Good Morning Northland's Pet of the Week with Animal Allies! This sweet and caring 4-year-old dog is looking for a loving home. For more information on how to adopt him, head over to the GMN page of WDIO.com

Buxton is a 4-year-old pup looking for a loving home to call his own. He has been at the shelter since November 5th and is a very sweet boy who loves meeting new people and getting attention. Buxton’s fun and goofy personality is sure to win anyone over. He’s quite playful, especially with squeaky plush toys, does well on a leash, and is crate trained.

Buxton’s ideal home would be with someone patient who can help him adjust to new situations and people. He is looking for a home without cats or young children, as he did not enjoy their company in his previous home. While he has done well with other dogs, he can be a bit selective about his canine companions. Buxton would make a wonderful best friend for someone looking for a partner to lounge with or explore together.

If you’re interested in adopting Buxton, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341. There is a discount on his adoption fee as he is a long-term resident at Animal Allies. The adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The adoption process is first come, first serve.
