Two UMD Bulldogs make U.S. National Team's World Juniors roster

On Thursday, the U.S. National Junior hockey team released their official World Juniors Roster. The list includes two freshmen from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team: forward Max Plante and defenseman Adam Kleber.

Max Plante, a Hermantown native, missed ten games with the Bulldogs due to an injury suffered during their season opener Bemidji State. Since his return, Plante has scored six goals and made four assists in five games.

Chaska’s own Adam Kleber has made one assist and 10 blocks in 15 games so far this season.

The 25-man Junior team will represent the United States in the 2025 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships from December 26-January 5 in Ottawa, Canada. For the full schedule, Click here.
