Greenwood Township snowmobile accident

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to a snowmobile accident on Lake Vermillion in Greenwood Township at 7:50pm on Thursday December 19th.
A 69-year-old man from Tower was traveling on the lake on a snowmobile and was flung from his vehicle after hitting the breaks.
He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Multiple agencies responded to the incident including the Saint Louis County rescue Squad, Greenwood Fire Department, Greenwood First Responders, Breitung Fire Department, Tower Fire Department, Tower Ambulance, and Virgina Ambulance.
