Prep Hockey: Cloquet-Esko-Carlton sweeps St. Cloud Cathedral, Denfeld tops Northern Lakes
On Thursday, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boy’s hockey swept St. Cloud Cathedral to improve to 7-0, and the Denfeld boys took down Northern Lakes.
In Cloquet, the Lumberjacks found themselves victorious over the reigning Minnesota State Class A Champions St. Cloud Cathedral, winning 5-0. Players like Niko Gentilini, Luca Gentilini, and Karson Young would tally points for the Lumberjacks.

In Duluth, Northern Lakes’ coach Mike Randolph returned to the Northland for the first time since becoming the Winningest Coach in Minnesota high school hockey. Duluth Denfeld took down the Northern Lakes 5-2. The Hunters would rally points thanks to players like John Scott and Tristin Nephew.
