Sabrina Ullman: Light snow possible on Monday

December 22: Flurries possible Monday

Light snow is possible for portions of northern Wisconsin on Monday. Elsewhere, the weather will be dry until Friday.

Temperatures reached the 20s for most of the area today, and we will not see them drop much overnight. A southeast wind will become calm in the evening, and temperatures will only drop a degree or two.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon highs ranging from 23 degrees in International Falls to 33 degrees in Ashland. Flurries are possible in the morning, and we could see snow accumulation up to an inch for portions of Washburn, Sawyer, and Price Counties.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be quiet with temperatures continuing to increase. Afternoon highs will be in the 30s starting on Tuesday and lasting through the week.

A Colorado Low will head our way toward the end of the week, but with temperatures in the upper 30s, we will have mostly rain. There is a chance of a wintry mix on Friday night.
