Two indicted in Red Lake drug trafficking conspiracy

Two men have been indicted for conspiracy to distribute meth and fentanyl of the Red Lake Reservation, the United States Attorney Andrew M. Luger announced Monday.

According to court documents, Bobby Lee Donnell (46) and Jordan Lee Lussier (29) were stopped by the Minnesota State Patrol on or about September 4. The trooper learned their licenses were revoked and that a warrant for Lussier’s arrest had been issued. A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly found over 50 grams of methamphetamine and over 40 grams of fentanyl.

Donnel and Lussier were each indicted on one count of conspiracy to possess methamphetamine and fentanyl with the intent to distribute.

An arraignment and motions hearing is set for January 24, 2025.

The case is a result of an investigation conducted by the FBI, Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
