Lea Zmurko: Another clipper to come
Waking up to a dusting of snow across the ground as we welcome back the seasonal winter look. With snowflakes sticking down by the lake we start to rebuild the scenery that was lost in the Christmas warm up. Some snow will continue today across northern Wisconsin as lake effect snow is likely for the South Shore.
More snow is instore on Saturday and Sunday as 2-3 inches will likely fall across the Northland. Locally higher amounts of snow will be spotted along the North Shore and northwest Wisconsin.
After the flakes settle and the clipper clears out, the cold temperatures will return as highs will drop to the single digits and windchill will be in the -15F to -30F range through Tuesday morning.
